This Onbag is another Zippy – this time made out of dark blue cord and Amy Butlers ‘Lark’ fabric !

there are two pockets at the front of this zippy- they are just a little difficult to see ;)

The inside of the zippy is, as always, fastened with a zip 😉

The zip extends beyod the edge of the panel so that it is easy to get things out of the bag :)

I can hear puppies crting for their food- so I will have to make this a short post I’m afraid….

But to make it up to you all, I will post a few cute puppy pictures later on tonight 😉

Amy butler Soul Blossoms Onbag baby

I’m not sure if I have introduced my mannequin to you all before? I have had her for quite a few years, and she has been used to model every baby carrier that I made as Daisy chain slings. Since I started creating Onbags instead of Mei tais, she has had a much easier life, and generally just stands quietly in a corner of my studio watching the world go by 😉

When I first got her, both my children were quite small….and they decided that she simply HAD to have a name. so they discussed it between themselves, with much whispering and the occasional furtive glance my way. In the end, they declared that her name should be Hedgie. Nothing else would do, and Mummy certainly wasn’t allowed to choose a more ladylike name

So, Hedgie she has remained!

Hedgie is modelling the latest Onbag Baby, which is hot from my sewing machine!

It is made of purple cotton drill paired with the delightful Soul Blossoms sari fabric by Amy Butler.

My lovely mannequin "hedgie" is wearing the Onbag across her body.

Many apologies for the rubbish photo….

….but at least the Onbag itself is very beautiful 🙂

This is a classic Onbag made out of purple cord, paired with the delightful Amy Butler fabric “Alchemy”

The Alchemy fabric is an unusual shade of jade/turquoise, and is reminiscent of a vintage fabric with it’s large butterflies and the green and pink colour combination on their wings.

general

I have had to hurry this bag along so that it can go away on it’s holidays on the 6th, so I hope that it arrives at it’s new home in plenty of time and that it remembers to send me a postcard

There is also another bag underway for this Mama, but I am keeping it under wraps for the moment…..you’ll have to come back in a few weeks to see that one 😉
